The remarkably picturesque Market Square, situated in the old part of the city of Pszczyna, with its traditional, medieval design, surrounded by tenement houses from the turn of the 18th and 19th centuries, has been used in the film "Magnat" as a background in scenes presenting episodes from the life of the magnate von Teuss family. The streets and buildings of the Pszczyna market square have been shown from the west, where the square opens onto the castle, presenting its Gothic structure. Today, near the entrance to the castle, there is a bench and a statue of Daisy, the Duchess of Pszczyna.
